I’m the Managing Director of Sebenzela. I’ve spent 20 years in the FMCG industry and during my career, I noticed that the African township market was being overlooked by FMCG companies as a place to build brands. My dream has always been to create a company that would be able to build brands in the townships and create an environment where township consumers would be able to easily see, access and experience global brands right on their doorstep. I’m passionate about sales, merchandising, brand building and brand reputation.
MLISELA MFINGWANA
I’m the Sales Director of Sebenzela focusing on delivering results for clients through value, volume and market share. I’ve spent 11 years understanding market dynamics, consumer trends as well as how to build brands, merchandise and sell products to the township market. I’m considered an emerging market specialist having worked my way up the career ladder starting as a sales merchandiser, then progressing to roles such as field sales manager, area sales manager, regional sales manager, national main market manager and general manager.
